Capacity Building
Capacity Building Projects
Capacity building projects help communities, organizations and companies acquire the capabilities they need to implement bioenergy initiatives. To this end, BCBN supports capacity building initiatives in areas including forest biomass residues, agriculture residuals and municipal waste.
BCBN has invested over $2 million into over 15 capacity building projects to date, with highlights including helping establish industry hubs in BC’s Central and Northern Interior regions, as well as assisting remote communities in the development of renewable energy systems.
