Capacity Building

Capacity Building Projects

Capacity building projects help communities, organizations and companies acquire the capabilities they need to implement bioenergy initiatives. To this end, BCBN supports capacity building initiatives in areas including forest biomass residues, agriculture residuals and municipal waste.

BCBN has invested approximately $1.64 million into 12 capacity building projects to date, with highlights including helping establish industry hubs in BC’s Central and Northern Interior regions, as well as assisting remote communities in the development of renewable energy systems.

Please browse the pages in this section for profiles of our capacity building projects; refer to the list of projects on this page.
