Canada-headed forest industry major Canfor has announced additional restructuring changes to its operations in B.C. in a bid to better align manufacturing capacity with the available long-term fibre supply in the province. It is permanently closing its pulp operations at its Prince George pulp and paper mill by the end of January. Canfor is one of the biggest employers in this area, and the closure can result in the loss of 300 jobs.
