Advanced Biofuels Canada
An industry association that aims to promote the production and use of advanced biofuels in Canada, cooperate with other stakeholders to expand market access for sustainable low-carbon biofuels in Canada, and collaborate broadly to decarbonize transportation.
BC Council of Forest Industries (COFI)
The BC Council of Forest Industries (COFI) represents the majority of lumber, pulp and paper, and manufactured wood producers across the province – an industry that remains a cornerstone of the economy, supporting good jobs and a better quality of life for British Columbians. COFI advocates for the interests of its members and works with government, First Nations, communities, labour and other partners to promote a healthy, diversified and sustainable forest industry that benefits people and families across BC.
BC Safety Authority
The BC Safety Authority mandates the safe installation and use of technical equipment, including various bioenergy systems. They also issue permits and licences, educate and conduct onsite inspections in higher-risk installations.
BC SMART Low Carbon Fuels Consortium
BC SMART is a “coalition-of-the-willing” that will develop a long-lived, commercially viable process to supply and help decarbonize the long-distance transport sector operating in British Columbia and beyond.
BC Sustainable Energy Association
The BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA) is a member-based, non-profit organization that supports the sustainable production, distribution, and consumption of energy in British Columbia and beyond. The association collaborates with governments, industry, universities and other institutions, other non-governmental organizations, and citizens to put in place the conditions needed to accelerate the province’s transition to a lower-carbon economy.
BC Tech Association
BC Tech is the largest member-led technology non-profit in British Columbia dedicated to turning startups into scaleups. BC Tech’s work supports members to grow and diversify their talent pool, acquire new customers, access capital and accelerate their scaleup journey.

Canadian Foundation for Innovation
The Canada Foundation for Innovation is an independent corporation created by the Government of Canada to fund research infrastructure. Its mandate is to strengthen the capacity of Canadian universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research institutions to carry out world-class research and technology development that benefits Canadians. Since its creation in 1997, it has committed more than $3.8 billion in support of 5,746 projects at 128 research institutions in 64 municipalities across Canada.

FortisBC
FortisBC delivers natural gas and piped propane to homes and businesses throughout BC. They’re focused on connecting their customers safely, efficiently and reliably to the energy and services they need. With approximately 920,000 customers in 125 communities, FortisBC provides service to 95 per cent of BC’s natural gas customers and is one of the largest natural gas utilities in Canada.

Indigenous Clean Energy Network
The Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE) Network is the go to resource for Indigenous clean energy action in Canada. The ICE Network is focused on creating space that supports the continued growth Indigenous participation in the clean energy sector.
International District Energy Association
The International District Energy Association (IDEA) is a nonprofit trade association of district energy professionals, whose support and collaborative input have enabled the organization to inform, connect and advance the district energy industry since the Association was founded in 1909.
Renewable Industries Canada
Renewable Industries Canada is a Canadian non-profit organization created in 1984. In 2016, it changed its name from Canadian Renewable Fuels Association. The change reinforced the 32 year-old non-profit association’s mission to promote the use of value-added products made from renewable resources.

Wood Pellet Association Canada
A member-governed trade association that is dedicated to the growth and prosperity of the Canadian wood pellet industry. Members include Canadian wood pellet producers, ports, terminals, stevedoring companies, transportation companies, equipment manufacturers and distributors, inspection companies, engineers, consultants, and universities. WPAC’s premise is that by working collectively, we can address common issues that will lead to the growth and prosperity of our industry for the benefit of all our members.
