New Biorefinery Jointly Owned by St1 and SCA Begin Its Operations at Gothenburg

A biorefinery in Sweden, developed as a joint venture between the Nordic energy group St1 and the Swedish forest products company SCA, commenced commercial operations on April 10. The facility produces SAF, renewable diesel, biobased naphtha, and LPG, with a capacity to produce 200,000 metric tons per year (approximately 63 MMgy) of renewable fuels.
