As demand grows for professionals trained in life cycle assessment (LCA), BCBN and the University of British Columbia are launching two new online micro-certificate programs. These advanced offerings focusing on clean liquid and gaseous fuels will equip participants with practical modelling skills for biodiesel, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), hydrogen, renewable natural gas (RNG), and more.
Micro-Certificates Programs:
- LCA of Clean Fuels (starts October 6, 2025)
- Advanced LCA of Clean Liquid Fuels (launching Oct 6, 2025)
- Advanced LCA of Clean Gaseous Fuels (launching February 2, 2026)
These programs are applicable for the StrongerBC Future Skills grant that covers up to $3,500 per person.
UBC will host online micro-certificate Information Sessions on Aug 21, Sept 4 & Sept 18, 2025.
