NGIF Accelerator Provides $300,000 for the Development of Clean Technology to Produce Renewable Natural Gas from Agriculture Waste

The NGIF Accelerator and its Industry Grants program have announced a $300,000 grant to G4 Insights Inc. for the advancement and commercialization of its proprietary PyroCatalytic Hydrogenation (PCH) technology. This innovative technology transforms forestry and agricultural crop waste into renewable natural gas (RNG), boasting an 80% reduction in carbon intensity compared to conventional natural gas. The PCH technology facilitates the cost-effective, large-scale production of RNG from lignocellulosic biomass (also known as plant dry matter), enabling its distribution in forestry zones and delivery to consumers via existing natural gas pipelines.
