| The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation released its Intentions Paper on aviation fuel regulations which are expected to take effect on January 1, 2024. The paper presents the types of aviation fuels included in the Low Carbon Fuel Act, renewable fuel requirements, carbon intensity targets, fuel characteristics, supplier eligibility criteria, and penalty rates. The deadline to provide feedback to the Ministry is 7 AM PDT on May 15, 2023. |
