Life Cycle Assessment Micro-Certificates: Expanding to Clean Gaseous Fuels

BC Bioenergy Network, in partnership with UBC’s Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship, is expanding its Life Cycle Assessment education programs. Tidewater and B.C. Government Support FCC Co-Processing at Prince George Refinery

Expander Energy Secures Feedstock and Land for Mackenzie Biofuel Project

Expander Energy advanced its Mackenzie Biofuel Project in British Columbia after securing biomass feedstock and land through an agreement with East Fraser Fiber. The proposed bio-synfuel facility would use biomass electrolysis to liquids (BETL) technology to produce synthetic fuels from biogenic carbon, eliminating fossil inputs. Learn More

B.C. Launched Credit Trading Market Page in LCFS Portal

CFR Update: ECCC Publishes Updated List of Approved Carbon Intensities

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) published updated information on approved carbon intensities and CI applications under the Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR). CFR Information Session Presentation Now Available

ECCC published the presentation from the recent information sessions on targeted amendments to the CFR. The sessions outlined proposed amendments intended to support Canada’s biofuels sector while maintaining the CFR’s core objective of reducing fuel-related emissions.
